Campground Host

The newest RV Park in Oregon is situated in the heart of the Willamette Valley amidst rolling country hillsides and tidy hamlets only 50 miles from the Pacific Wonderland.  The Guaranty RV Park is the most recent store addition to Guaranty RV Super Centers and will help ensure Guaranty to be the preferred West Coast destination for RV sales and services and we are looking for a Camp Host.

This individual would serve as a liaison between park users and park staff, duties will include greeting visitors, answering questions, explaining rules and regulations, assisting campers in locating a campsite, parking and periodically shuttling visitors to our Travel Center.  Your primary purpose would be to ensure our guests have a great recreational experience.

Other duties include light maintenance work around the campground, dog park, dump station, pavilion, litter pick up, cleaning and stocking restrooms, and providing information to park staff on potential problems and distribute information to all campers. 

Skills Required:

• Must own an able to reside in your own RV on the property, RV must 10 years old or newer.
• Ability to perform light maintenance tasks such as sweeping, washing, bending, and mowing.
• A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle records check.
• The ability to be on your feet, ride a bike and/or drive a golf cart and move around freely with guests.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills including the ability to remain calm and friendly when confronted with upset visitors or problems.
• Basic writing and computer skills.
• Familiarity with local areas of interest and services available nearby.
• Must be able to work a varying schedule which may include weekends and holidays.  
• Must be able to make a minimum 30-day commitment.

Working conditions may vary depending on weather from hot to cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions.  This individual will be required to live onsite (rent free) and commit to working approximately 20 hours per week, 15 hours on shift and 5 hours of on-call.  These hours may vary from week-to-week.
