Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Parts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers, ensuring exceptional service, and assisting with various inventory and stockroom tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Service Manager/Parts Manager in various leadership tasks.
• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers efficiently and accurately.
• Deliver exceptional service to all customers and vendors.
• Process customer orders, recommend additional related repair items, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Gain and maintain superior product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Assist with daily inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Help maintain perpetual inventories and ensure stock accuracy.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and professional appearance of the service counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Maintain accurate records of time, expenses, and materials.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Oregon driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience in parts management or a similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of automotive components and systems is required.
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
• Any relevant automotive certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with a focus on exemplary customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of computers and related software.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
